Director	Lizabeth Gregg, MBA, D.Sci. EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science, Cardiovascular Specialist, Doctorate of Science; Master of Science in Biochemistry and Master of Business Administration; Registered Radiographic Technologist Dr. Gregg has 25 years of private practice and hospital rotations specializing in cardiovascular disease and surgery with emphasis on holistic health care and bio-nutrition. Her publications include Environmental Toxicity, Weight Management Now, and You and Your Heart.

Dean of Instruction	Gregory C. Baldt, D.C., N.D. EDUCATION: Edinboro University; Logan College; UCLA Dr. Baldt has practiced medicine in Phoenix, Arizona, since 1979. Board certified in acupuncture and physiotherapy, kinesiology, sports medicine as well as an Independent Medical Examiner & Specialist in TMJ Disorders. Dr. Baldt has published four books (many are required reading in many medical schools world wide) and has been published in JAMA and the ACA. He has also presented over 1000 lectures and seminars to health care providers. Dr. Baldt also holds a degree in Education.

Academic Dean of Students	David A. Frederick, Ph.D., ND., D.Sc. EDUCATION: Open International University for Complementary Medicines; Chinese Academy of Science; Indian Board of Alternative Medicine; International Ayurvedic Institute; Berkeley College of Music; Boston University of Metaphysics; National Institute of Metaphysics, University of Rhode Island Dr. David A. Frederick is an internationally known lecturer and educator. He holds a Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology, a doctorate in Complementary and Alternative Medicine, a doctorate in Metaphysics with additional degrees in Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Naturopathy and Ayurveda. He is a diplomat with the College of Forensic Examiners under Psychological Specialties, and is a fellow with the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture and the Royal Complementary Practitioners. Dr. Frederick is Board Certified as an Alternative Medical Practitioner. He holds a Masters in Holistic Health and was the delegation leader for Natural Health Science to the Peoples Republic of China. Dr. Frederick is Chairman of the Medical Advisory for Natural Homeopathic Doctor and is Executive Vice President and co-founder of the American Academy of Ayurvedic Medicine.

Dissertation Chairman	John Lewis Laughlin, Ph.D. EDUCATION: Fairfax University; Columbia University; Summit University; New York University; The Writers Center Dr. Laughlin has advanced training in marriage and family therapy. He is a clinical member of AAMFT, Certified Doctorate of Addictions with diplomat status, and clinical social worker. He is published with Ready Thomas Merton His Life and Work.

English Specialist	DeeAnn M. Greene, M.A. EDUCATION: Northern Arizona University; Bachelor of Music Education, Arizona State University; Masters of Music Ms. Greene is pursuing her Ph.D. in Education Administration from New Mexico State University. She has also taken specialized post-graduate classes in Linguistics and Navajo Culture and History. Ms. Greene is also a former Admissions Director for a private post-secondary college in New Mexico.

Psychology Department Chairwoman	Barbara Gibson-Paul, Psy.D. EDUCATION: San Diego State University; Antioch University; Southern California University Dr. Gibson is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist with expertise in crisis intervention, chemical dependency, and stress related problems. She is a trainer in her field and well respected for the workshops, one of which is The Power to Change

Psychology Dissertation Committee Member	Gerald Terlep, Ph.D. EDUCATION: Wayne State University; State University of New York Dr. Terlep is a professor for Wayne State University, Central Michigan University, and St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital with 25 years in education. Dr. Terlep is a member of American Philosophical Association, Society of Teachers and Families, and Michigan Behavioral Science Foundation. He has published 9 books such as Doing your Research Project, CMU Library Guide, and Education of Research, Statistics. Certified in Addictions and ICDAC.

Health Science Department Chairwoman	Ellen G. Tart-Jenson, D.Sc. EDUCATION: Appalachian State University; University of New Mexico Dr. Tart is a graduate of Appalachian State University, University of New Mexico, and Westbrook University. She has studied and worked in the field of iridology for 16 years; and nutrition and natural healing methods for 20 years. She is certified to teach certification classes in iridology by the National Iridology Research Association (NIRA). She is also certified in iris analysis by Dr. Bernard Jensen and Rayid International. For two years, she studied natural healing methods in a health clinic in Switzerland. For four years, she wrote articles, edited books and analyzed iris slides for Dr. Jensen and assisted him with many of his classes. Currently, she has a busy practice where she uses a computerized electronic camera to photograph eyes. She reviews the pictures with her clients on the computer screen and prints them upon request. She authors courses and is an instructor and Dean of the School of Iridology for Westbrook University, and serves on the board of NIRA. She teaches classes in iridology, nutrition, herbology, and healing through mind/body techniques throughout the United States as well as in other countries throughout the world.

Health Science Dissertation Committee Member	Ronald F. Karl, N.D. EDUCATION: Wilbur Wright College;Okton Radiological College;Wellness/Massage Training Institute; Clayton School of Natural Healing; Westbrook University Dr. Karl is the Dean of the School of Naturopathy at Westbrook University. He has authored several courses in nutritional sciences and emergency medicine. He is a Certified Radiologic Technician and a state and nationally certified paramedic. He has also written a government certified first aid course as well as completed a movie on emergency responsiveness with the Chicago Fire Department. He has served on the Board of the American Association of Trauma Specialists and as Midwest Zone correspondent to Paramedics International magazine. He is a diplomat in naturopathy with the National Board of Naturopathic Examiners. Professional affiliations include membership in the American Naturopathic Medical Association (ANMA), National Health Federation, and the American Massage Therapy Association. He is the President of Lifesaving Enterprises of Illinois, a company that designs and manufactures emergency medical equipment.

Health Science Dissertation Committee Member	Sharon Giammatteo, PT, Ph.D. EDUCATION: Dr. Sharon Giammatteo graduated from Wingate Institute of Physiotherapy in Israel; received an undergraduate degree in Advanced Health Sciences and Medicine, a graduate degree in Clinical Neurosciences and her Doctoral Degree investigating manual and cranial therapies for the neurologic client. Dr. S. Giammatteo is President of CenterIMT, Center of Integrative Manual Therapy and Diagnostics, including Regional Physical Therapy in Connecticut. CenterIMT is a network of health care clinics providing manual therapy and rehabilitation in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Dr. S. Giammatteo is President of Dialogues in Contemporary Rehabilitation (DCR), the learning, resource and research center for IMT in Connecticut. DCR presents over 250 seminars around the world each year. Their authorized Connecticut School of Integrative Manual Therapy is situated in Bloomfield, CT. Dr. S. Giammatteo developed Integrative Manual Therapy, the Integrated Systems Approach and Integrative Diagnostics. She has taught on 5 continents as an expert in orthopedics, chronic pain, pediatrics, neurologic and geriatric rehabilitation.
