As a prerequisite to entering a Degree program, students are required to complete 35 credit hours of General Education covering the following topics:
- English (9 credit hours)
- Math (3 credit hours)
- Laboratory Sciences (8 credit hours)
- Humanities and Fine Arts (6 - 9 credit hours)
- Social and Behavioral Studies (3 - 9credit hours)
Westbrook University offers the General Education courses, however, these types of courses are found at most community colleges and are transferable to Westbrook University. In most cases, students that hold an Associate Degree have already completed the General Education requirements.
